ADMISSION PROCEDURE

1.	B.A. Tamil	A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto (Tamil as compulsory Subject).
2.	B.A. English	A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto.
3.	B.Sc. Mathematics	Candidates seeking admission to first year of the Bachelor of Science â€“ shall be required to have passed the Higher secondary examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Electronics as one of the paper in vocational stream conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto.
4.	B.Sc. Physics	Candidates seeking admission to first year of the Bachelor of Science â€“ Physics shall be required to have passed the Higher secondary examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Electronics as one of the paper in vocational stream conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto.
5.	B.Sc. Chemistry	A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with ChemistryandPhysics and any one of the following subjects namely Maths, Botany, Zoology or Biology shall be eligible for admission into B.Sc., course in chemistry. However non Mathematics candidates have to take allied subjects other than Mathematics.
6.	B.Sc. Botany	A candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination in Academic or vocational stream with Biology (Botany / Zoology) under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as Equivalent there to.
7.	B.Sc. Zoology *	A candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination in Academic or vocational stream with Biology (Botany / Zoology) under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as Equivalent there to.
8.	B.Sc. Computer Science	A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subject under Higher Secondary Board of Examination, Tamil Nadu as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent there to.
9.	B.Sc. Textiles & Fashion Designing	A pass in +2 exam
10.	B. Com *	Candidate for admission to the first year of the UG Degree programme shall be required to have passed Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or vocational) conducted by the Govt. of Tamilnadu in the relevant subjects or other Examinations accepted as Equivalent there to.
11.	B.Com. (Computer Application)	Any one of the subjects must be studied at the +2 level Accountancy/ Commerce/ Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science.

12.	B.A History	A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as equivalent there to by the syndicate subject to such conditions as may be prescribed there to are permitted to appear and qualify for the B.A. Degree examination of this university after a course of study of three academic years consist of six semesters.
